　　From April 24 to 26, 2025, the “2025 China Society for Surface Engineering (Qingdao) Anti‑Corrosion and Lubrication Academic Conference,” hosted by the Anti‑Corrosion and Lubrication Branch of the China Society for Surface Engineering, was successfully held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao. With the theme “High‑Quality Products and Services Drive the Development of New Quality Productive Forces,” the conference brought together nearly 300 industry experts and corporate representatives from institutions such as the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Wuhan Materials Protection Research Institute Co., Ltd. under China National Machinery Industry Corporation; and Beijing University of Science and Technology. Researcher Hou Baorong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, graced the event with his presence and delivered a keynote speech. The conference featured 36 outstanding technical presentations spanning cutting‑edge fields including vapor phase corrosion inhibition technology, nano‑lubricant additives, and bio‑based anti‑corrosion materials, injecting new momentum into the high‑quality development of the anti‑corrosion and lubrication industry.
